Characters from The Tale of the Ethereals series
Faux Dezdes
A young boy born in the Blemish town of Della Mar. Following the destruction of his home, he and his surviving family fled to the north of Ravine, finding a new start in the farming village of Draula. Hardworking, hesitant, and well-meaning, Faux wishes to help people more than anything. His world will change once more, and with this change will come much more danger. Will he choose to run, hide, or face the stirring darkness?
Persephone DeMatrio
A woman assigned to escort Faux across Ravine. She wields a sword along with something more… Strong-willed and prone to frustration, Persephone does little to hide her feelings. Her goals are her top priority. However, despite her usual neutral expression and deep focus on what must be done, she does have a good heart. But of course, she knows kindness is not enough. She’s bound to her missions. Whatever must be done, she will do.
Ollinair Feysal
A bounty hunter and temporary business owner, Ollinair is a skilled archer and one of Faux’s protectors. Levelheaded and logical, he tackles problems head-on and with swiftness. He is also a bit of a jokester and is the more amiable of Faux’s two guides. But hurt lies beneath his light-hearted disposition. An awful event changed his life forever, but he refuses to allow it to stop his efforts. Ravine must be protected, and he must put aside his pain for the sake of the continent.
Golbra
A Spear of The Unsound King. Hoping to impress his father with his magical prowess, Golbra is unyielding and stubborn. He wants to lead the Fayn army and will do whatever it takes to surpass his competitors, including disobeying orders. Brash yet nostalgic for a life he can barely remember, Golbra is a formidable foe our heroes will have to face. His will won’t be broken easily, and with the Aqueous Potential in his arsenal, he won’t stop until his enemies are properly vanquished.
